You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using this software. Unless you have a different license agreement signed by HHD Software your use of this software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.

Evaluation and Registration

This is not free software. Subject to the terms below, you are hereby licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 14 days (subject to change, consult product page for most recent information). If you use this software after the evaluation period a registration fee is required. The software can be purchased on-line at http://www.hhdsoftware.com. Credit card ordering and quantity discounts are available, as described on-line. When payment is received you will be sent registration information for purchased product.

Unregistered use of the product after the evaluation period is over is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

Disclaimer of Warranty

THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. The HHD Software Company through this License Agreement grants to you non-exclusive and non-transferable rights thereunder in respect of using a copy of the computer program for a service life thereof, i.e. for a time period throughout which HHD Software shall maintain and make available an updated version thereof. A 3 Month License allows the Licensee to use the Software for the period of three months and receive full support and updates available for this product for free during the period of three months.

Developer

Nice product by lack advanced data manipulation features. Bit shift on a range would be a nice feature etc.

The price for version with the features I need is way too expensive. In addition it doesnt even have all I want.

Much better than competing product thou!

Use Free Hex Editor Neo to modify huge files

I had to change 1 byte in a 3.5GB file. Looks as an easy task but it is not if you do not have the right tool. I "googled" to find a suitable editod but none of them, incl. my favorite 'Hex Workshop' could do this task (OK, my Hex Workshop is old).
But when I found Free Hex Editor Neo and tried it I was very pleased to see that it could do it!
I think Free Hex Editor Neo is a very nice tool indeed, I have printed the list of features comparing it to the other versions of Hex Editor Neo and it could be my favorite very soon.
The same company has other nice tools, like USB monitor and Serial Monitor which could very helpful too.
